This remote mountain hides a complete world with in itself of views, ecosystems, lakes, waterfalls and snow caped peaks. It is given its name Altar, because of its numerous peaks in semicircular form, similar to an altar in a church. Called in native language Capac Urcu, which means Almighty Mountain.
